All that glitters is not gold, and not only gold will glitter. One of the industry’s most watched jewelry designer, Good Wood, has made a splash with its Jesus piece and is keeping things going with intricate wood-carved pendants the label is known for. As with the industry today, when one label or designer has finally “made it”, collaboration requests come along, and Good Wood is heading down the same path with Heineken.
Good Wood has customized pieces for Heineken’s “Heineken Inspire” Tour, an open event featuring some of the hottest artists and DJs around today such as Wale, Fabolous, Cold War Kids, The Hold Steady, Matt & Kim and Joel Madden. The tour kicked off this weekend in sunny Miami with Wale and Fabolous performing and launching this product collaboration. This collaboration sports wooden pendant and pin slabs carved into the Heineken logo and the Heineken bottle respectively.
The tour will be hitting other cities such as Chicago, Los Angeles and New York City. Aside from new tour dates, there will also be other limited edition product collaborations to come, so stay tuned.
